The staff at Tracy Learning Center wishes you and your family a happy holiday season and a very good new year.  As all of us reflect on the year, we all come up with things we wished we had done better.  That is the heart of New Year resolutions.  It is important to be realistic, to look at what we are doing and to make changes.  Growth is an important part of life.  We, at TLC, continually look at how we can improve and work to make changes that will make things better.  Schools that never change, never improve.  We appreciate your support of our school and our programs and we value you and your children.

Speaking of changes, we look so forward to seeing the actual physical changes to our TLC Beverly School Site and we thank the District and Construction Crew for a job that seems to be going very well.

Fall Report Cards and Winter Break

Report cards were mailed home this week, and Spring semester began on Monday.  We hope all of our students and their families have a safe, restful Winter Break and return on Tuesday, January 2nd ready to work hard in Spring Semester!

PSAT Results

Online results from the PSAT (Preliminary SAT) will be available to students and parents after December 11th. Students should be receiving an email with their access code from the College Board in order to view their results online.  Paper results are scheduled to arrive to school sites in the next week.  When we return from break, the results will be distributed as well as original test booklets. A result interpretation workshop will be conducted at that time. Thank you to the students who attended the PSAT test session in October!

College Early Start – Next Steps

Students who were approved for the College Early Start program should have registered online for their Delta College classes on November 30th at 3:45pmIf a student has not yet registered, they need to see the Counselors as soon as possible.  Classes are filling up.  Families pay for the students’ classes online, and they will be reimbursed after the student completes the college course with a B or higher – a Reimbursement Request form will need to be completed by the student when their final grade is posted.
