Dear TLC Families, Students, and Staff,

This week the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) published their anticipated COVID-19 Public Health Guidance for K-12 Schools in California, 2021-22 School Year. (click on the link to read the entire document)

The guidelines state the following:

  • CDPH has eliminated the three feet social distancing, allowing for schools to operate at 100% capacity
  • COVID-19 vaccines are NOT required for students to attend public schools in California but are strongly recommended for students over the age of 12
  • Masks WILL BE REQUIRED indoors for all students, staff, and any visitors on school site facilities, regardless if an individual is vaccinated or not

TLC will continue to follow the guidance from the CDPH. We will continue to work diligently to provide updates and plans aligned to the CDPH guidelines as they are updated. The next masking update is expected to be released on November 1, 2021.

Our 2021-22 school opening plans remain unchanged. On August 2, 2021, we will welcome back all students for in-person learning, 5 days a week, full time, at 100% capacity, following the current safety guidelines. TLC is not offering a distance learning option for the 21-22 school year.

We look forward to welcoming all students and staff back to campus for the 21-22 school year. Thank you for your continued support of our Tracy Learning Center schools!

Sincerely,

Carolyn Woods

CEO

Sinceramente,

Carolyn Woods
