TLC Charter Chatter
News, Information, and Updates for Primary, Discovery, and Millennium Charter Schools
A Message from our CEO, Carolyn Woods
Congratulations to the Fine Arts Department for the fantastic return of Haunted High! Thank you, Mr. Snyder and Mr. Young, for dedicating your valuable time and putting so much effort toward this project. It was, in my humble opinion, a Hollywood-level haunted house experience! Thank you to all who came together to make this happen: to the crew who gave up a Sunday to help with the build, to the actors for putting on a hauntingly impressive show, to our custodial crew and the staff from Primary, Discovery, and Millennium for all of your help with working the snack bar, ticket sales and providing supervision, to our leadership group for running the games, and to all of you who came out to support TLC and the MHS Fine Arts Department! Already looking forward to next year!

“Loving host family needed for a wonderful girl from Spain. She is very sweet, respectful and neat. She likes to be organized and is a great student. She has done classical and contemporary dance since she was three years old. She also plays the piano and loves to build Legos to relax. Student goes to Millennium High and has been living with a temporary welcome family so she was able to come and start school. Please consider opening your home and heart to this wonderful girl for the school year.
Host family provides her a room (she can share with the same gender sibling over the age of 10) and 3 meals a day. Student pays for all other expenses. Contact Ceci Haas, local Academic Coordinator, for more information. 951-204-2165 cecihaas@gmail.com chinet.org “

We continue the week by learning about pumpkins. We visited Fantozzi Farms in Patterson where we learned about how pumpkins and corn grow. The children got to go through a corn maze, go on a hayride, jump on a giant pillow, and more. If you have a child 3-5 years old and are interested in learning more about our program, feel free to give us a call (209) 229-1575.

***An Important Message from the Front Office***
Below you will find a link to our electronic parent website (AERIES). This database contains critical information about each DCS student and each student’s emergency contact information. This portion MUST BE FILLED OUT BY YOU. All data will be used to contact you in the event of an emergency. It is very important that you take the time to ensure we have all necessary information.
Use the following link https://tracylearningcenter.aeries.net/student and login in with the email and password you created when registering your student at the beginning of the school year. From there, navigate to the DATA CONFIRMATION PROCESS link. Once you enter the information, THE LAST STEP IS TO PRINT THE EMERGENCY CARD and turn it into the front office or to your child’s teacher.
If you believe you have already completed this process OR you need help completing this process please call 209-290-0511. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Fall Sports is quickly coming to an end and our winter sports have already jumped straight into their conditioning window, awaiting the official start of tryouts. Cross Country will host the league championship on Wednesday afternoon, 10/27 at Eagal Lakes. We are looking for some course volunteers from about 1:30pm-5pm if you’re able to help! You would be helping make sure the runners stay on course (and can also cheer on the runners as they pass by!) Email Miss Balsamo at SBalsamo@tracylc.net
Volleyball had their final game of the season on Tuesday 10/19 out at Venture, with football wrapping up on 10/29 at Stone Ridge.
This Fall Season saw senior nights take place for 5 volleyball players, 15 football players, and 18 cross country runners! Some of our biggest numbers yet, leaving many open spots up for grabs on teams next season.

Parents often find themselves in a challenging role of separating themselves from “Parent” and “Parent Coach”. I would strongly encourage all parents to check out these courses available from NFHS Learn: https://nfhslearn.com/home/parents
Thank you all of the parents and community members that have volunteered their time to help out at athletic events this Fall, from admissions gate and chain gang, lines and score table to announcing and snack bar, etc. These events benefit greatly from your involvement and we appreciate you!
Weekly Athletic Announcements: Looking for schedules? In-Season sports will always have their schedules posted and current at both MHSFalcons.com and MaxPreps.com. Fall is currently posted, winter and spring to follow in the upcoming weeks! MHS Athletics is on social media! Follow us on IG @millennium_athletics or on Facebook at Facebook.com/BalsamoPE
Save the date: Daddy-Daughter Dance will be held on Saturday December 11th in the TLC gym.
LUNCH: Ordering lunch is slightly different this year. All students should have a lunch account to pay for lunches. To register, go to https://www.mymealtime.com/ and create an account. You must choose/type in your specific school (Millennium High School) and you will need your student school I.D. number. If you have any difficulties creating an account online, money can still be added to your account by either cash, check, or debit card. You can drop off payment in the lunch dropbox that is located in the main office. We are still in the process of adding new students to our mealtime system and hope to have it completed next week.
Lunch is ordered the day before it is delivered to class. All students should order their lunch during 4th period/HUB time. The Google Classroom code is SEUNSOU. Applications for Free & Reduced meals must be completed and turned in every year. You can apply on the school’s website.
