News, Information, and Updates for Primary, Discovery, and Millennium Charter Schools

A Message from our CEO, Carolyn Woods

October COVID-19 Stats for the Tracy Learning Center:

Cases in Primary: 0

Cases in Discovery: 2

Cases in Millennium: 5

Overall positivity rate: 0.005

As the data reflects, our COVID mitigation strategies continue to be successful. We anticipated an update to the COVID-19 Public Health Guidance for K-12 Schools to be released by November 1, 2021. As of today, the latest update, dated October 20, 2021, does not include updates to the masking requirements, therefore, until new updates are released, we will continue to follow our established protocols, which include masking indoors, distancing when feasible, hand washing and deep cleaning. Thank you all for your cooperation!

Primary will be dismissed at 11:00 AM

Discovery and Millennium will be dismissed at 11:30 AM

Enrollment for Freshman of the 2022-2023 school year is from November 1-30, 2021. All current Discovery students in 8th grade must return an application to accept their priority at Millennium High School for their Freshman year. Applications are open to all students that are currently in the 8th grade in Tracy and the surrounding areas.

November Lunch Menu

Tracy Learning Center Pre-K

This week was jam packed with lots of spooky halloween activities followed by our Annual Harvest Festival on Friday. Such a fun day getting out with our parents and enjoying the children playing games and trunk or treat.

Primary Charter School

For Red Ribbon Week; PCS students received a visit from Tracy Fire! The firemen discussed healthy choices and how to be safe in an emergency. All PCS students showed the fire department their best behavior by being polite citizens (no blurting, attentive, and used good manners)!

Great job PCS!

In addition, Senora Wharton created an alter to celebrate Dia del los Muertos. All PCS students had the opportunity to create an art piece to decorate the altar with. Furthemrre all students had the opportunity to visti the alter at lunch time. What a great week!

Parent/teacher conferences are Novemebr 16, 17, and 18th. You will find a sign up sheet in your students folder. Please check your Gooogle classroom for specific information.

***An Important Message from the Front Office***

Below you will find a link to our electronic parent website (AERIES). This database contains critical information about each DCS student and each student’s emergency contact information. This portion MUST BE FILLED OUT BY YOU. All data will be used to contact you in the event of an emergency. It is very important that you take the time to ensure we have all necessary information.

Use the following link and login in with the email and password you created when registering your student at the beginning of the school year. From there, navigate to the DATA CONFIRMATION PROCESS link. Once you enter the information, THE LAST STEP IS TO PRINT THE EMERGENCY CARD and turn it into the front office or to your child’s teacher.

If you believe you have already completed this process OR you need help completing this process please call 209-290-0511. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Fall Sports is quickly coming to an end and our winter sports have already jumped straight into their conditioning window, awaiting the official start of tryouts. Cross Country will host the league championship on Wednesday afternoon, 10/27 at Eagal Lakes. We are looking for some course volunteers from about 1:30pm-5pm if you’re able to help! You would be helping make sure the runners stay on course (and can also cheer on the runners as they pass by!) Email Miss Balsamo at

Volleyball had their final game of the season on Tuesday 10/19 out at Venture, with football wrapping up on 10/29 at Stone Ridge.

This Fall Season saw senior nights take place for 5 volleyball players, 15 football players, and 18 cross country runners! Some of our biggest numbers yet, leaving many open spots up for grabs on teams next season.

Currently hiring for the following:

*Head Coach- Varsity Boys Volleyball:

*Head Coach- Coed Tennis:

Posting coming soon: Frosh/Soph and JV Girls Volleyball for 2022

Parents often find themselves in a challenging role of separating themselves from “Parent” and “Parent Coach”. I would strongly encourage all parents to check out these courses available from NFHS Learn:

Thank you all of the parents and community members that have volunteered their time to help out at athletic events this Fall, from admissions gate and chain gang, lines and score table to announcing and snack bar, etc. These events benefit greatly from your involvement and we appreciate you!

Weekly Athletic Announcements: Looking for schedules? In-Season sports will always have their schedules posted and current at both and Fall is currently posted, winter and spring to follow in the upcoming weeks! MHS Athletics is on social media! Save the date: Daddy-Daughter Dance will be held on Saturday December 11th in the TLC gym.

LUNCH: Ordering lunch is slightly different this year. All students should have a lunch account to pay for lunches. To register, go to and create an account. You must choose/type in your specific school (Millennium High School) and you will need your student school I.D. number. If you have any difficulties creating an account online, money can still be added to your account by either cash, check, or debit card. You can drop off payment in the lunch dropbox that is located in the main office. We are still in the process of adding new students to our mealtime system and hope to have it completed next week.

Lunch is ordered the day before it is delivered to class. All students should order their lunch during 4th period/HUB time. The Google Classroom code is SEUNSOU. Applications for Free & Reduced meals must be completed and turned in every year. You can apply on the school’s website.
