A Message from our CEO, Carolyn Woods

As I walk the TLC campus and visit the Grantline site, I cannot help but feel proud of who we are and what we do. We have a dedicated staff, engaged and energetic students and a wonderful supportive community! 

I encourage you to get involved, whether it be by volunteering in a classroom, attending an athletic event or becoming a member of our School Improvement Committee. We value your support and input!

Special Education 

Research has shown that too much screen time has been linked to a variety of health consequences including:

-Poor Sleep

-Anxiety and Depression 

-Irritability and Mood Swings

-Vision Problems

-Obesity 

-Reduced Focus

Additionally, screen time has been associated with a decline in academic performance. 

Excessive screen time is a challenging problem to control, especially when children have developed bad habits from younger ages. This resource is provided to give parents a positive reinforcement strategy to help reduce screen time.
